Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Two Paragraphs

Holy Trinity was founded by a group of friends to provide a place set apart as a sanctuary where people of all ages and abilities can worship and grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord. We are a loving, joy-filled community where families and individuals are strengthened through Biblical teaching, transcendent worship, and faithful action. Our passion is to multiply disciples for Jesus, while honoring our cherished Anglican inheritance.

We seek live out the Great Commandment:

Jesus said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.
Matthew 22:37-39
Our greatest desire is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with our community and the world.

Links: Below you will find links to some key resources which help explain and define the rich traditional, theological, and practical elements of the Anglican Life.

  • The Book of Common Prayer (1928) https://holytrinityanglican.org/bcp.php This book of worship and prayer is the heart of Anglicanism. A serious inquiry starts here.
  • The Thirty-nine Articles of Religion (Link to PDF) Though these are not a confession (such as the Westminster, Heidelberg, or even the catechism of the Roman Catholic Church), they provide significant insight into our Anglican faith.
  • The Catechism (Link to PDF) A catechism is a teaching tool which presents key aspects of the faith through a series of questions and answers. Our catechism is included in the Book of Common Prayer. The answers of the catechism are expanded and explained in the Offices of Instruction (Link to PDF), also in the Pryaer Book.
